WhisperWood

Whisperwood is a cozy 3D village-life adventure RPG where you play as an ordinary villager or tradesperson who unexpectedly inherits a mysterious magical heirloom. As you learn to harness magic, your quiet rural life transforms into one of discovery, connection, and gentle wonder.

My Role

For this project, I was assigned as Lead Programmer.
What this entails for our team is that I help review and analyze design proposals, assess their feasibility within the timescale, and evaluate how difficult they might be. Often, I will provide a breakdown of how it could work in terms that everyone can understand.

I also take on programming tasks myself. The ones I have taken on so far are:

Save system
Blacksmithing
Mana/Health/Stamina system
Spell system

Being around such talented people has helped me stay motivated on the project. Being a part of something is the greatest motivator.
